Stiff necks on the school run
Stiff necks can be loosened up in one minute with this stretch:
Sit on a chair - the driver’s seat is ideal - with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Put your right palm on the outside of your left knee and your left palm on the outside of your right knee. Your arms are now crossed.
Push out with your knees into your hands and at the same time push your hands into your knees. Nothing else moves!
Now, let your head drop forwards onto your chest. You should feel a lovely stretch down the back of your neck.
Hold it for 30 seconds, then switch your arms over and repeat.
